Terms of Service
Draft. This page sets out the structure of our terms and must be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. The legal entity, governing law and exact fees still need to be filled in.
1. About TONOS
TONOS is a service built on Telegram Mini Apps that lets sellers run an online store inside Telegram and lets buyers browse and buy from those stores. TONOS is operated by [legal entity, country] and is not affiliated with Telegram.
2. Accounts
Your TONOS account is linked to your Telegram account. You are responsible for keeping your Telegram account secure and for everything done through your store, including actions by managers you invite.
3. Sellers
- You are responsible for your products, their descriptions, prices, stock and delivery.
- You must follow the laws of the countries where you sell, including tax and consumer protection rules.
- Plans, product limits and features are described on the pricing section and in @TonosSellerBot; the version shown in the bot applies.
4. Buyers
Purchases are made from independent sellers. The seller, not TONOS, is responsible for the item and its delivery. TONOS provides the store, checkout and payment protection described below.
5. Payments and fees
- Buyers pay in USDT on the TON blockchain or, where the seller offers it, with cash on delivery.
- A USDT payment is held until the buyer confirms delivery or a set period after shipping passes, and is then released to the seller.
- TONOS charges sellers a fee per completed order and optional subscription fees. Current rates are shown in @TonosSellerBot.
- Blockchain network fees are outside TONOS control.
6. Disputes
If an order goes wrong, the buyer can open a dispute. A held payment stays held while both sides provide information, and TONOS decides how to release it based on that information.
7. Prohibited items
Sellers may not list illegal goods, counterfeit products, weapons, drugs, adult content or anything that breaks Telegram's terms. TONOS may remove listings and suspend stores that break these rules.
8. Liability
TONOS is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, TONOS is not liable for losses caused by sellers, buyers, delivery services, Telegram or the blockchain network. [Exact wording to be set by a lawyer.]
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We will announce material changes in @TonosSellerBot before they take effect.
